For those of you who don't watch Pokemon (or have only seen the newer episodes *sigh*), Misty, the redhead, always wears the same outfit of jean shorts, a yellow bare-midriff top, and red suspenders. But in this scene, her suspenders are- BLUE!?!

ReplyDeleteAlso do you have any Pokemon cards in other languages? I have Salamance, and two others that I cannot read because they are Japanese. Salamance is French. He's Salameche there which I don't get. Can't they have the same NAMES????!!!

I have tons of Japanese cards! My only Ho-oh is Japanese, a Lugias, my Sneasel, my Raikou, an Entai, my Suicune, a Skarmory, a Bulbasaur, a Nidoran, and a Celebi. They're all in Nova Scotia, though, I hope they aren't lost for good... :(

ReplyDelete1. I'm 99% sure that he still IS voiced by a girl. I would google it, but I'm already doing something else (Trying to figure out why the guy in Pokemon Chronicles, which was in Japan back in 1999, looks exactly the same as the Male Playable Character in Pokemon Heart Gold and Soul Silver).

ReplyDeleteAlot of girls voice boys. Like a girl voices Bart off of the simpsons.
ReplyDeleteThe reason they use elder girls to voice young boys is that at this age, boys' voices are developing and really awful to listen to. So they cast women because their voices are pleasant and they can change their voices into the voice of a young boy. Men can't change their voices much. Ben Tennyson is also voiced by Tara Strong.
ReplyDeleteActually, depending on the age of that boy, their voices aren't necessarily changing yet. At 10 years old, Ash's age (if I remember correctly), a boy's voice probably wouldn't be changing yet. At 13 or 14, however, it may, but it usually depends on each individual person.
